Last night while sitting at the computer and talking with my G/F I heard a crash in the back yard and the motion lights came on. Immeadatly the Unit one protector came off the couch to raise hell.
I could see out the window that the problem was a large raccoon trying to get into the trash can. While blading at 45 I pondered the situation, and my options and did not have time to rep at 215 #1 Let protector unit out the door and risk him getting injured by said beast. #2 grab the Ar and repel the attacker #3 grab the 45 from the desk and do the same #4 grab a .22 from the primary containment do the same #5 go uber tactical and grab the bow from the wall and use the silent approach Thinking fast I came up with another option. Having consumed adult courage drinks fire arm options did not seem the smart moves. In true ARFcom style I decide explosives were in order. Not having the claymores needed and time to place on the perimeter to repel the attack. I quickly checked the stores and came up with small explosive devices that can be hand delivered at short ranges by light a fuse. I creeped out the front door in my uber tacticle flannel lounge pants, and went into stealth mode moving the 40 feet along the side of my bunker. All senses were were on high alert. Igniting the fuse my aim was true, landing right at the rear end of the attacker. The small cluster explosives deployed as needed driving the attacker off with minor injuries. Protector one was released for the follow up and attacker was not found. |
