| I am quite sure they are code for white supremacy BS. Why do the rest of us put up with this BS? I enjoy the site, and think 95% of the folks here are good people. But the 88 reference comes up a little more than I am comfortable with. Why is it tolerated? I believe I will start calling it out each time I see it and see what happens. Good bye if I get banned for it. There are better avenues for people to vent their hate. Why do so against fellow Americans in these trying times? |

If you see one all you have to do is hit the report button. 87 is an Arfcom inside joke and has no bigotry undertones about it. |

Oh,  when I read this thread I didn't think of 87 meaning the generalized arfcom answer for everything. Thought it was some new relative to 88.

| There are constant threads from new members asking " how many" of something is enough. Whether it was a question about magazines, ammo, guns, or what have you, there isn't really an answer. One of the members here came up with 87 as the number for all these questions. |
