I worked a table for my state gun association this weekend.

I don't have figures for the whole weekend, but for Saturday, there were over 2,100 people though the door with ~350 guns sold.  

So, that's approximately 1 in 7 people buying guns.  Of course, that doesn't include mags, ammo, powder, uppers, etc.

And, miracle of miracles, I saw an AR for $875.  IIRC, it was either a RRA or DPMS, 16" A2 w/ M4 stock.

They didn't count the two stripped lowers myself and Wombat each bought in those numbers, they only seemed to be catching full guns.

While the ATF disagrees with me, I don't consider stripped lowers to be guns either.
