Why does OSX come with a DVD codec and can play right away. and Windows (all versions) need you to go 3rd party?

Any time you think Windows does not have something that OSX does, you are wrong. Windows does have it. It is just that you have to right click, and as a Mac person, the concept of right click is beyond imagination or comprehension.
