Why do people litter?
I went out today and policed up a section of the nearby rural highway after noticing an unusually large accumulation of trash. Fast food trash, snack wrappers, foam and plastic cups, a multitude of beer bottles and cans(broken glass is the worst), and cigarette butts - hundreds of them. Conclusion: People are filthy pigs. It just boggles my mind why someone would toss this stuff wherever they please - especially considering that it all ends up on private property around here. Disgusting. |

I saw a young (16/19) girl stop at a red light, open her car door and set a bag of McDonald's trash and McDonald's cup onto the street.
There was a little Asian guy about 70-80 years old in a car in front of me (directly behind the girls car). He got out and ran up to her car and began a verbal tirade against the girl that continued tiil the light changed green. It was a fantastic sight to see. This little piglet girl obviously pissed him off to no end. He took the trash with him to his car, I had to honk and give him a thumbs up. |
