Today was my day off, so I had a lot of time to sleep in and prepare myself a big breakfast for the pyhsically taxing day of .22lr shooting and laundry ahead.

Food:

Scrambled eggs, cooked with diced yellow onion and colby jack cheese
Buttermilk pancakes––extra rich, prepared with eggs, vanilla extract, canola oil in the pancake batter.
Thick slice bacon, chewy and juicy––not crunchy (bleh )
Cherry yogurt
A tall mug of ice-cold whole milk in my favorite Donald Duck mug.

Armament:

DPMS AR-15, 2x PMAG w/ 60gr. Hornady TAP
Remington 870 w/ 00 Buck

I like to think of them as flapjacks, so I have to deduct a point there and also one for the yogurt, that stuff is for women and hippies.

All in all you did pretty good, so I give you 8/10.

-1 for the pink calf slobber.

Overall a nice breakfast.  You could have added some home fries cooked in some of that bacon grease for some much needed carbohydrates and fats.

You should have a knife to cut those pancakes with.  I would suggest a Randall No. 1.

Have you ever tried making those flapjacks with buttermilk?  They fluff up even higher.  Just a  suggestion.
