Although I suspect you know this:
I believe the original poster is seek suggestions for cartridge reloading software applications; and maybe this should be in the reloading forums.

Exactly what kind of functionality are you looking for?  Load data?  Load tracking?  Ballistics?  There's some good free software available, but none of the free software that I'm aware of has load data.

Not sure what your needs are and I don't have any direct experience with the software listed, but I can give you a free alternative.  Go to www.huntingnut.com and download their free Point Blank software, that will give you ballistics software, numerous calculators, a reloading database to track your own cartridges and a firearms database.  Also, if you sign up for an account, also free, you can get access to their online load database.

Also, all the powder manufacturers have load data online for their powders as well.

Hope that helps.

I use Quick Load.  You can tailor the load to yoru rifle, powder, bullet, barrel length ect ect.  You are not working off of someone else rifle.
