| If you really wanted a G19 but the only one avaliable was a G19C and they wouldn't have any regular G19's in till July, would you go ahead and buy it? |
| Buy it. If you use the right ammo, you don't have to worry about flash anyway. I have a G17c, and I have fired it at night multiple times. I live in the country, so I can shoot whenever I want. I use WWB and flash is not an issue. Most people who say the flash will blind you have never fired a c model at night, or when they have it was with just one kind of ammo. From my G17c Rem. UMC does "flash" quite brightly, WWB does not. |
| The 19C is the cats ass. The 9mm is already an easy round to shoot, put a comp on it and muzzle doesnt rise at all. Its almost like cheating. All these people who are complaining about muzzle flash have no idea what they are talking about. Having been in a shoothouse numerous times and using both a 17 and a 17c among 19's 19c's, 22's 23's 21s 21c's etc etc the person who says that in an active shooting engaging targets enviroment can tell the difference in muzzle flashes is an absolute liar. |

i have a glock 22 c and i don't think there's a big difference from the flash coming out of the top of the bbl to one that's not. if your shooting in pitch black, the flash from an uncompensated bbl will screw up your night vision as much as a compensated bbl. and ive shot at night from both types. the only difference i noticed is that the "c" models are a little bit louder than the non "c" models. either way it's your money, get what you want. |
