Wont jack anything up. I have used it before. Sometimes I saw a difference, other times I didnt.

Many people use it. However, I heard they started using wildcards for non-existent domains. Can screw things up.

Started using it two years ago when Cox's DNS servers started to suck.  No complaints what so ever.

Comcast dns servers can cause a sever slow down with some macs and you had
to double click every link, open dns solves that issue.

Try it for a week and if you don't see a difference: you don't see a difference.

Some ISPs that I've had in the past had awful DNS servers and I was forced to use free DNS servers. OpenDNS is just ONE of many.

My IP, Time Warner has had some server attacks recently.    Some Mac users have gone to this to alleviate the problems of slow loading etc.   Thanks for the replies.   I think I'll load it up and check it out.

I see a difference, seemed like I always had to reclick a link with a lot of pics on it, it would hang half way through displaying the pics, now they all appear at once!
