Provided of course that the .gov can curtail spending while the debt is being repaid.

Applying that same standard to Obama's spending then instead of the $4-$5 trillion so far we should calculate the total cost of society at tens of trillions, say $40 trillion. Using the Washington Post as a factual reference on the Iraq war is laughable folly. Next time read past the inflammatory headline and even the article makes it evident what a stretch they went to to get that figure. |

Just like our current deficit of 10+ Trillion dollars is, in fact, way more than 10 trillion due to the numerous external costs of it? I just highlighted it was another example of so-called 'taxation without representation' upon a group of people who have yet to be born. And Bush out-spent Clinton dramatically, despite being a so-called 'conservative'. If you think our budgets are ever going to shrink, you are out of your mind. |
