Unborn kids fathered by American kids yet to be born ... all just got the livin' hell taxed out of them by Team Obama.
That's taking Taxation Without Representation to the next level.

But it's for the children!
Just wait till this "global new deal" starts up too http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article5822265.ece http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/comment/columnists/guest_contributors/article5821821.ece |

While I completely disagree with the unprecedented and outlandish spending Big O is doing, it's nothing new. We ran up massive deficits our kids/grandkids will be paying for by waging war with Iraq. Chump change compared to what just happened. Yep. Current spending is unrecoverable by any metric. |

I'm sure I will be labeled a supporter of Obama now...even though I have never voted for a Democrat in my life. |

Provided of course that the .gov can curtail spending while the debt is being repaid.

We already tax the dead an obscene 45%.z ETA: Almost forgot that it's supposed to return to 55% in 2011. Can you imagine the response the Founding Fathers would have to a tax that takes more than half of what you have as punishment for dying?z What really boggles the mind is considering how much that money (someone's estate) has been taxed during their lifetime and then to add on the criminal indignity of the government taking 55% of what is left. If that doesn't make you mad as Hell, you are the OctaMom!

Uh...wasn't the overall cost projected to be more than $3 trillion? That's hardly chump change. Washington Post Major FAIL. If you even read your own linked article you would see that the Washington Post greatly exaggerates the cost of the war by adding in all the "cost to society," not just the actual budget expense. Applying that same standard to Obama's spending then instead of the $4-$5 trillion so far we should calculate the total cost of society at tens of trillions, say $40 trillion. Using the Washington Post as a factual reference on the Iraq war is laughable folly. Next time read past the inflammatory headline and even the article makes it evident what a stretch they went to to get that figure. |

Next time read past the inflammatory headline and even the article makes it evident what a stretch they went to to get that figure. Uh...and why is it wrong to consider external and future costs of the Iraq War? Just like our current deficit of 10+ Trillion dollars is, in fact, way more than 10 trillion due to the numerous external costs of it? Again, I never said the Iraq War was the be all, end all of our budget problems. I just highlighted it was another example of so-called 'taxation without representation' upon a group of people who have yet to be born. And Bush out-spent Clinton dramatically, despite being a so-called 'conservative'. If you think our budgets are ever going to shrink, you are out of your mind. |
