| Have any of you used opticsplanet.com for anything. I ordered a Strikefire on in 2nd of February and still have not received it, and my buddy ordered a holster on the third and just got it yesterday. Are they usually this slow. What the hell? |

Since Christmas I have spent close to 2k there and placed 3 different orders. They have a very fast turn around (for me at least). I once orded a scope at 3:00 in the afternoon and then called about 2 hours later to see if I could add something and my order had already shipped. If my memory serves me correctly, it reached me in about 3 days.

I ordered a microscope and slide set for the kids for Christmas. After a week I noticed it still wasn't shipped so I asked why and they said the slides weren't in.
I asked them to send the microscope since Christmas was coming. They said the slides would be in stock in a couple of days but two weeks later I said screw it and canceled the order. The microscope itself came very quickly after they said they would ship it. |
| Yup, I ordered a gun case from them then I got an email saying that it would be in stock in 3-7 days. One day short of a month later, I got my case. You have to call them and ask if what you want is in stock since their website is not up to date. Other than that, they were good to deal with. |

I guess you guys are just luckier than me. Last year I tried to order 4 different items on 4 different occasions. Each and every time after a day or so I would get an e-mail saying the item ordered was backordered or would I like to substitute x,y,z. After two weeks or so I would get another e-mail saying that delivery was delayed indefinitly and the order was cancelled, would I like to substitute another item. After four times of this exact process, I got mad and copied all of the e-mails and sent it to them asking them if I was the worlds unluckiest person or if their entire business model was based on a bait & switch technique.
I will say, however, they did respond to that e-mail quickly and I got what I ordered at the price shown a month or so later. So, generally, my actual order expierences have been bad, but my customer service expierence has been good. Dan |
