| I bought a phone off ebay 16 months ago and got a 2 year warranty contract with it through Squaretrade. Well now the phone display is acting up so I contacted them and sent it out today. Now I'm wondering what will happen? I'm 99.9% sure the phone can't be fixed. Has anyone filed a claim with them? What were the Results. |

Ya I've read how many people got screwed. I guess I'll just have to update what happens with me. Looking at my contract I don't see how they could claim my warranty doesn't apply, But whoever knows. Any update? Well I shipped them my phone and four days later I got it back. They replaced the entire main LCD screen. No problems what so ever. They didn't try to dispute anything, I thought they would. When you file for the warranty you have to describe what's wrong with it. When doing this make sure not to admit to anything that would void the warranty. I've heard a lot of horror stories with them, I think the key is to heavily read their "terms and conditions". I know the item you warranty normally needs to be a new item, not LNIB. |
