Get the new furnace.  What are you, a cheapskate?  The economy is cratering because of people like you!

I got nothin', but here's a bump.

Google Van Wert Oil Furnace. It looks like there is a lot of info available.  Contact Van Wert and see if there is a factory authorized repair business near you.

I have no experience with furnace repair what so ever.  I have fixed a couple of refriderators by searching appliance repair and following the troubleshooting charts.  I do have 25 years experience fixing cars professionally.

Do make sure your furnace vent or chimeny is not blocked or restricted.  It can potenially cause carbon monoxide poisening or fire.

Someone else on this site should have more specific knowledge than I.  Post in the Do It Yourself section in General.

Good luck and I hope someone can help you and save you some bucks.
