How can he expect people to take him seriously when he acts like an ass clown? I was watching his show on FOX last night and it seems he has gone insane. Maybe he should take a break and gather his marbles.

Always liked Beck, and miss him now that he's left HNN. I just may have to upgrade my Dish Network programming so I can get FOX.
My only real issue with him was his transparent love for his fellow Mormon Mitt Romney. Of course Mitt is looking pretty good these days considering what we ended up with.

I don't get arfcom most of the time. Glenn Beck has more common sense then most in General Discussion. He's well read and has a much better grasp of the proper functioning of a Constitutional Republic then most. I'm sure "Dave" thinks he's the Antichrist for his limited government views but oh well.

I have been watching Beck since 2006 when he was on CNN. He filled in for the Larry King and his presentation of the story was like night and day. He touched on issues that I am sure CNN did not want to air, and his switch to FOX appears to have allowed him to really loosen up. He tells you he is a reformed alcoholic and dope smoker, and has moved on. He is a compassionate guy, and does get very emotional - and pissed off. I don't think he is faking for rating. Plus, he is 100% pro gun, like Lou Dobbs, who I have recently been paying more attention to. Dobbs went off the other day about banning guns. The old guy rocked - you should have seen it. |

He has some points of view that I agree with but I fault him for falling for Mitt Romney in the exact same way he would fault minorities for falling for Obama.Romney was and is no conservative,but because he's also a Mormon ( FWIW,Beck is a convert and not from Utah regarding a prior comment) Beck thought him fantastic.
I'm not going for the "compared to what we have now" bait.Romney's executive leadership in MA gave us a permanent AWB and a black ( or red ink) hole of healthcare and if THAT is the kind of leader you want,I'd just as soon have Obama against me than Romney winking at me for being on his side. |

Basically, I like Beck though certainly I do not agree with all his views. 5sub Might be helpful to remember Mr. Beck - like former president brush - is a recovering alcoholic. Mr. Beck- like former president brush - grasped religion to help pull himself out of the bottle and views Israel from a biblical - not contemporary - perspective as did former president brush. Recovering alcoholics will tend to see the world in terms of black and white and have difficulty with the shades of gray between the extremes. |

I love watching & listening to Beck. Having said that, his delivery can be too goofy and clownish and just ruins the message. I think of it this way.......... if I were to tell my Dad (who is a conservative Dem but don't know enough to watch something else besides ABC, CBS and CNN) to watch Beck and get some info on what's REALLY going on, I know he'd turn it over there and see Beck acting like a clown and immediately turn it off and tell my I was crazy. He'd never watch anything "different" again.

I don't expect to agree with anyone 100% of the time, I find myself agreeing with Beck a great deal. I like his show, glad he's on Fox. Too me its not a matter of agreeing, he just is over emotional or over acting take your pick Well then stick with Oprah ! Glen Beck is passionate about his beliefs and I am glad he is on the airwave preaching common sense. which is something this country has seemed to have lost!! |

ARFCOM should be skeptical of people on our side that go "off the hook" for almost anything. I don't necessarily disagree with Beck, I just think he's exceptionally self-promoting. |

Beck's overrated. He is FAR better than Sean Hannity. Sean's TV and radio show are both lame. Exactly what is it that Mr, Hannity says that you disagree with or that angers you. I'd like to know as well because I always hear this, but with no reason why 
He's not my favorite, but I tend to agree with him most of the time. |
