This was apparently in response to my answer to brouhaha when he asked about places to shoot in Chicago. Carpentersville is in the 'burbs, so I thought it was a cogent comment. [url]http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?id=82009[/url] Here is my vicious, slanderous, libelous, and no doubt mentally unstable post in its entirety: One: There are no public ranges in the city of Chicago, and only a few in Cook County (Bell's Guns being the nicest guys, except for having their inventory halved and being sued by the city)GunWorld out by O'Hare on Irving Park Road was pretty good too, if they are still in business. Two: "Assault Weapons" are forbidden in the city of Chicago. Three: "Assault Weapons" and pistols not registered prior to 1986 cannot be registered by individuals. Four: Possession of unregistered weapons in the city of Chicago is a felony. Five: Guess why I moved the F#(K out of Chicago. Stay in DuPage County, if you're in the area, since no pistol or "assault weapon" bans apply. Go to GAT Guns up in Elgin, but stay away from RGUNS. Midwest Sporting Goods in Lyons used to be pretty good, but they got a little big for their britches. Didn't you receive something like this a couple months ago? Perhaps it was someone else. I bought from them a few years ago. Guess I got lucky before the downturn. Just in case anyone is unclear, the user KMA is RGuns here at AR15.com. Also, consider reporting this harrassment to his ISP- some will actually kick them off, and he'd lose his service with them. Heck, I don't need to report him to his ISP. I'm more amused than angry. I just thought it apropos, as this is exactly the reason I stated, "stay away from RGuns." I would think that the GoatBoy, et al, might want to reconsider offering him advertising space, as well. But, as they are running this thing as a business, they can't afford to lose a paying advertiser in favor of a non-paying member. Hey, Kurt! I never [i]stopped[/i] being your friend! i just can't believe that a douchebag like this who has been so clearly revealed as such, still has the gall to post, much less advertize on this site. hopefully word of mouth will spread, and this little pimple will dry up and free space on this board for something useful. like magazine vendors with a quality product and a mouth to match. i've never purchased from RGuns and never plan to. ill keep my cash in the good guys pockets thankyouverymuch!
