It appears that there will be some sort of stimulus.
My local government entities are making lists of what to spend their portion of the money on.
Some have said that they will look closely at proposed projects and only recommend those that will create jobs.  (I can only hope)

My question to you is this..........
Are you okay with the local government entities taking the money even though you believe that the amount of spending in the stimulus is too much?
At election time do you vote against the local politician's that accepted the money?

OR

By the time it gets to your locale, it is too late to do anything so you would be crazy for not taking the money?

Or do you agree with the level of spending (borrowed money) in the stimulus?

no I am not ok with them takeing the money and my vote will indacate it come election time. and my reps know it. i have sent them enough emails and phone calls telling them. this will push us over the edge, I am not sure we as a nation will be able to come back from this. as much as i want our nation to be prosperous this is not the answer, it only gives more power to the federal gooberment. never a good idea. not to mention so many people are about to pop. on both sides. i wonder how long it will be before people realize this plan is a HUGE failure and start rioting. it all infuriates me

My question above is geared more toward state governments and city governments.
I am assuming that a stimulus has passed and I want to know how you feel about your state government and city government using the stimulus money.

So, if/when the stimulus legislation is passed and signed into law and the money is being distributed to the states/cities for their projects, the game is over?

I guess the game is over as far as the money is borrowed and we are in debt to our eyeballs and then some.
However, we should probably try and make the best of the situation and press our local government officials to spend the money wisely on true economic stimulating projects.
