I remember before Kommie Fool Klinton elected that Chuckie Schmukie Schumer proposed legislation to make possesion of gun springs illegal!!! And require license or permit to purchase and possess gun parts. What an arrogant asshole. And he still is.

Of course we can only guess how a new ban would work, but with the current administration and congress it would likely be much more restrictive than the Clinton ban. With the possible attacks on ammunition, parts for our rifles may be the least of our concerns!!!

Just the bolt face will be banned. The rest you will be able to buy via the gun-show loophole. Until they close that, then you'll only be able to get bolt faces on the black market.

How can someone know what would be allowed under a law that hasn't been passed?

There is no pending legislation.

IF they manage to "reauthorize" the 94-04 AWB, every single loose part will be available, but there are limits as to what they could be assembled into.
