Flroida Flag Fish or Siamese algae eater. Copper as a last resort. Tough stuff, good luck.

buy some H202 (hydrogen peroxide)

turn off your filter and let the water sit and get still. Take a needle-less syringe and fill it with H202

squirt the H202 onto the offending algae and let bubble for a while.

Turn your filter back on after 20 or so minutes.

That's for spot treating... if you have it all over decorations etc, remove them and soak in an H202 or bleach solution. When it's dead it will turn a reddish color... a lot more fish will eat dead BBA rather than live BBA. You don't need to do a water change after spot treating... the oxidation process leaves oxygen and water... both of which you should have PLENTY of in your aquarium already. If you use the bleach solution, add dechlorinator to the solution before you put the decoration back in your tank (makes the bleach into ammonium, I believe)... it helps to rinse it in old tank water as well.

Knowing very little about fish I was hoping to see a pic of a guy going to work with sucker fish hanging off his beard.
