The new format here doesn't really bother me to much except for posting pics. In the previous format I could "Right Click" and copy a picture from my files or any internet page and then paste it into a message here. Doesn't work anymore? Can it be done and I just haven't figured it out? Or, is using a URL the only way? |

If you use the WYSIWYG editor you can drag and drop any image from the web into your post. If it's a local file, nobody will be able to see it because the path to it is unreachable. (ie if it's on your machine, it's visible to YOU!) Does the advanced editor work in Mac OS X yet? It didn't when I tried when it first came out. |

Yup with this last update it works across all major browser engines. I tested with Safari (and Safari on a MAC), firefox, ie, and chrome. (Chrome and Safari use the same engine... so it was just extra testing because I was bored.) |

Because you are considered to be "borrowing" bandwidth from the original hosting site. |

Find the pic you want, and right click to "save as" which will save the picture to your desktop. (I usually upload to a file folder I created called internetpics, just to keep things organized on my computer). Then go to a photo hosting site such as photobucket (you will need to set up an account, but most are free). There you will be able to see an icon to upload. Once you do this, you will see various links to your photobucket account that you can copy and paste into the message on the board. Its a lot easier than it seems, so give it a try! |

They look like pixelated crap. That fucking sucks! That last one was big and beautiful. Why can't we have nice things? looks fine to me |

Could it have been automatically resized when you uploaded it to your file-hoster? Could the file-format have been changed? Changing file-format can cause lost image quality. |
