[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Life On Mars...

So I am watching the new show "Life on Mars" on ABC. Great cast featuring Harvey Keitel and Michael Imperioli. However the show can't decide if it is serious or a comedy. Whatever it is, it isn't working. I give it one season or less.

Not bothering, given the track record of poorly re-made British shows, like The Office and Coupling. The original Life on Mars was a well executed, unique concept.

I watched the premier of LOM after watching the entire LOM series on BBCA. I literally couldn't finish the premier as it was too painful to watch.

All in all, I'm getting pretty tired of American TV.

The American verison of the show is only so-so, but if you get a chance, catch the British version! That show rocked. And I want to see the sequel show, Ashes to Ashes. The UK Gene Hunt steals the show, and the brunette is quite a cutie.

I liked the original Brit version, then started watching the new one. I got really turned off with by a lot of anti gun rhetoric.
Never watched again.
