Saw this at a gentleman's while I was deer hunting one year. He explained to me that it was a regular AR lower while the upper was a .50 that you had to screw? a cartridge in in order to fire? Anyone have any info on one of these? (Might belong in tech but I thought it'd be kind of neat to share) |

Watson Weapon, probably the very first 50BMG upper assembly for an AR15 lower.
There are many others out there now that are much better and more refined, meaning bolt action designs and not interrupted thread actions. ALS, Ferret, Safety Harbor, Ultra Mag, and 1-2 others. My ALS 50 is a sub-MOA capable rifle with good match quality ammo.
