I’ve set back and enjoyed the freedom the expired assault weapons banned granted us. I was just a boy when the first one was instated, and remember my dad rushing us out to buy SKS’s. I grabbed up an M1 Carbine in my teen years, but when I got older and the ban expired I starting grabbing up Ar15s. Sadly except my posting pictures on facebook, letting people see my guns at the gun range, and having rational discussions with people over the years, I haven’t done jack to support this right. I feel pretty bad about it.
Well after I saw a Baptist Church a few months back getting attacked on cnn.com for having a gun giveaway for its youth I decided I needed to voice my opinion, so I sent CNN and the church an email. The church liked my email so much they put it on their website along with one or two others for all to read. Well that positive reinforcement must not have been enough because I got busy with finishing my degree and did not bother sending out any similar emails. Well times have changed, and so have I. The past few days I’ve been sending out emails whenever I can. I sent emails to 4 representatives in Montana yesterday, emailed nyagv, and gathered up some friends to start a propaganda machine on various liberal message boards. For those of you that have been contributing that is great, but I know there are a lot of you out there like me, and we really need you now. If we all could just make a few inoffensive rational emails and posts a day, I think we could really disrupt the gun grabbing agenda.
