I would suggest seeing a Dr to make sure there is not something going on that needs to be addressed. This could be a sign of an intracranial bleed or a tumor. Get it checked out.

A doctor is never a bad idea.  You should have your blood pressure checked.

Are you hydrated?

Have you changed your habits (e.g. "I usually drink four pots of coffee...")

What is the nature of your headache- is it a pounding sensation- a sensation of constriction- or is it localized to one part of your head?

Have you had a head cold recently or do you have a history of sinus problems?

Is snot currently flying out of you like you are a demented water sprinkler?

Fallen down the stairs recently?  Play professional sports without a helmet?

ETA: Are you currently surrounded by empty bottles of Night Train?

ETA#2: Do you wear corrective lenses?  Ever experience eye strain?  In other words, don't be a freak and try to read Dostoyevsky in a poorly lit room.

Tertiary Syphilis will do that to you.
