This is an old marlin 101 .22 single shot. Its got those little grooves to attach the scope mounts too.. Do they make a piccany rail that attaches to the little grooves in the reciever. I want to get a cheap red dot scope for it.

That cheap daisy bb gun scope is the only thing I have to fit it.

heres a LINK

they slide over and then run set screws from the top to lock it

made more for like  Marlin 60s and Winchester 190  autos with flat top receivers

so you may have to cut it or relieve it  for bolt clearance

but I have done that many times over the years at the shop with guys with old 22s like you have wanting to put red dots on

Many cheap red dot scopes can mount directly to the .22 groved receiver.

I'm thinking about drilling out the chamber and making it a .22mag. I've shot one once.  Sounds ghetto, but it seemed to work. A friend told be the drill bit size once. I cant remember.

Yip! the BSA red dots have 22lr and weaver compatible flip over mounts
