Couple of easy questions for the experts...
1. Are FTF sales/trades legal between two people. Example, can I buy a gun from a buddy and be legal? 2. If someone died and wanted a gun to be given to a relative/friend is this legal. Example, if I die can my son take possession of my guns without doing a transfer through a dealer? Thanks! |

If you were in a normal state, I would say it was fine. Even with a FOID, IL may still have it's own strange rules. Which it probably does. My suggestion would be to drop by the IL Hometown Forum and checked the tacked threads or ask the question in there. In a normal state questions 1 & 2 would both be legal without a FFL?
