I just got my brand new 223 RCBS FL set in from cabelas.
On the first piece of brass I broke my decapping pin.
I am at their website to reorder some in, but there are two sizes listed.

The one I took out was threaded onto the bottom of the shaft by a long collar/sleeve. It does have a head on it like a finish nail.

The website lists:
1. Headed
2. Small
3. Large

I am guessing I need a headed pin . . . anyone know for sure?
My die set is #11103

Thanks

Call RCBS on Friday (maybe Mon?), they will send you the correct part free of charge.

RCBS stands behind their products. you will get replacement parts.

lee makes a good decapping die that slips before breaking the pin, it is good for brass that has crimped primers, or if you try to load some berdan primed brass accidentally. it will save some downtime and is well worth the money.

Call and ask for several. This has happened to me many times and RCBS always stands behind their products. Great product and company.
