[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Beer question

long story short, Helped neighbor with home project last week. He came at me yesterday with 2 6 packs of Shiner Bock.

Never laid eyes on this brand in my life but am making chili and hotdogs for lunch. Along with a couple of bottles this beer to wash it all down

Question how good is this beer?

It's well liked in these parts.

I won't buy it at the store, but if I'm offered I'll drink it. I do like their Shiner Blonde though.

It's alright. About as good as one of the decent Sam Adams brews. Definitely drinkable.

They still make Pearl beer in Texas? I always liked it better than Shiner.
