Currently working on finishing my basement. Just got done with the 2nd coat of paint today. Start doing tile next week.

Anyone else have any fun projects planned to help the time pass during the cold months?

I'm building a death ray.  Or at least people think it will be.  Ever seen 500 kHz at 500 Watts?  And pumping it through a 0.080 micro Henry inductor?  Right now, I am working on the H-bridge controller for the inverter section...learning a lot.  Like dead time programming.  If there is too much dead time, efficiency drops but the MOSFETS on the H-bridge can be overloaded in reverse current.  But not enough dead time and the MOSFETS short

The application is really hot.  That is the intent.  But if I don't watch my RF generation, it could disable some FAA NDB signals, causing problems with ari traffic control .  Fortunately, capture of such stray RF is easy as the Faraday Cage is easy to build...wavelength of 500 kHz is in the kilometer range.

That makes two of us brother

Edit: Putting together either a 5.56 or 6.8 upper and I'm also finishing my garage. It's already insulated and 90% rocked. I just can't bring myself to finish it. It will get finished though.
