Looks delicious, but Natty? WTF?!
Doesn't anyone drink Fischer LaBelle or something?  Surely there's a decent Canadian beer they drink up there, or is that un-Yooper-patriotic?

IIRC closed down now, but his son was (we had a BIG disagreement) a friend of mine. They live in Iron Mtn.

9/10.

Had to subtract one for the catsup.  Everyone knows that pasties MUST be covered in brown gravy!

(Told the wife night before last when we had pasties last that we're going to need to make another run to Mackinac soon... we're down to six left from the 24 we brought home in August.)

Many, many cultures have a meat-filled pastry. Runzas are not unique.

Life long Heinz ketchup fan here.

Forbid the wife to buy another Heinz product after the John Kerry white house attempt.

We now use Hunts. It's fine, no problem, never looked back.

And I gotta have my Ketchup!

Gravey =FAIL. Cornish copper miners NEVER,EVER used gravy. +100000 for catsup. Fathers  side of the family came from Hancock, Mom's side had an uncle who was a superintendent there. Grams pasties were about five pounds each and I miss them to this day.

ESCANABA In Da MOONLIGHT
"A great American hunting miss-adventure."
"It's the day before the 1989 hunting season opens. For generations, the men of the Soady familyhave trekked to the same ramshackle deer camp north of Escanaba in Michigan's Upper Peninsula to drink, cause a little bit of trouble, and bag bucks. But in the words of Patriarch Albert, "Dat year camp was as tense as a moose's butt durin' fly season."
At 43, Reubin Soady is in danger of becoming the oldest member in the history of the family never to bag a buck. As the fateful dawn approaches, Reuben attempts to change his luck by altering several of the time-tested rituals of Soady deer camp, but only succeeds in fueling a series of strange and unexplainable events."

It's a damn funny movie!(kinda reminds me of ARFCOMMERS with funny hats & fudd guns) If you get a chance check it out. It was written & directed by Jeff Daniels & he stars in it. Put out by Monarch Home Video & Purple Rose Films.

Oh, 9/10

-1 for the "light" beer
