I don't think anyone is making new forged receivers. Only Springfield and their cast recievers. LRB is making M1a's, but not garands that I've seen. you can get a rack grade or service grade Garand barreld receiver from CMP (all the way down.) |

You can also from time to time get them thru CMP. They had some about a year ago that were pulled from rifles that were stored badly and were beyond repair the rcvrs were good and CMP had some refinished some were left as is. They were all in spec the price was really right to. |
