| What are the best rangefinders under $400 bucks. I don't neccesarally need the angle correction, but the distance and accuracy on non reflective targets are what I'm looking for. What is the longest distance, both reflective and non-reflective at this price level, including some that might be on sale. |

Extremely consistent results.. EASILY ranges rocks out to 1100 yds, the longest I've ranged was 1554 unsupported. Tripod mount on the bottom will give you better results for accurate 1200+ yds. It has angle correction, it also has some built in rifle drop charts, I don't use them because I reload and haven't wanted to spend time with it, but it could be useful with factory ammo. It takes 9v batteries which after 6 months I'm still on the same battery. I give this a +1 |

I really like the Nikon Monarch 1200. Some have suggested this rangefinder compares to a Leica for half the cost. The optics are very clear and the LCD is very quick and easy to read. I have been very pleased with this Nikon's performance.
BTW - I looked at the Bushenell Elite 1500 and thought the ranging and optical clarity was definitely good. However, I thought the battery compartment door was a joke. The little clamp and O-ring design really needs to be improved -as it doesn't look very waterproof. I much prefer the standard screw cap and O-ring design on the Nikon -for its water-tightness. |

I've got a Nikon Monarch Gold 1200 w/ Camo finish I am selling. It is in unused condition. I ranged with it twice to make sure it works before I sell it. Asking $350 Shipped.
