I saw today that my FFL is selling $14.95 PMags for $34.95 and 1000 rounds of .223 55 gr. for $595. Ouch! |
|
Quoted: They have been cool during this buying frenzy but I guess they decided to get theirs. I'll try to get some on line. I also need to get som 70 gr 5.56 load. My CMMG has a 1/7 but I can't find any ammo.I got an order with Area51tactical with the windows for $18.85 |

$14.95 for PMAGs is pretty normal. I would've cleaned him out of 'em. The .223 is overpriced, assuming it's blaster grade stuff. No! He was charging $34.95 a piece instead of $14.95. I was going to buy 10 for $15 but for $34 I only bought 2 shoot...should have bought NONE imo

I've seen a couple Bushmaster and Olympic AR's back in the racks at gun stores, only marked about $150 over pre-Obama prices. I was hoping that was a sign things were settling down. Wait until the new AWB has snaked its way through congress and is a few days from being signed into law. $150.00 over will seem like pennies. |

This what I posted on another thread...
Listen folks. For those who want PMags (or any AR15 mags for that matter) just hold on for a little while longer. We like other manufactures are ramping fast and you will see a noticable volume increase begining in January and ramping up steadly through March. Even in the most ideal of cirmstances another ban will not be able to make it through till July and by that time we should be able to fullfill most demands within days. So, in short, do not overpay. Get on a backorder list from a good company at a fair price and don't worry. |

I would like to try a few Pmags (black with windows) but I'm not willing to play crazy prices. |

I'd find a new FFL :P I'm all for people trying to make money while they can, but it doesn't mean I have to give my business to somebody trying to steal my money! When all this settles down I'll remember who was reasonable and who flew off the deep end. |
