I read the book a couple of years ago and was excited when it was made into a mini series. Oddly enough I almost always fell asleep while watching it. I would wake up whenever the shooting started though. Maybe I should go buy it and give it another shot. I really enjoyed the book.

| if you look at how often the writers/producers( Ed Burns and David Simon-both card carrying liberals) stress the civilian casualties and U.S. destruction of Iraq's social structure without a corresponding depiction of how bad Saddam was I think you will find is is an anti Iraq War film. Don't get me wrong I loved the series just thought it was not balanced politically. |
