I won an auction for 3 pre ban Glock mags on 11/7. I sent payment via USPS made with a USPS money order. After a few weeks with no package or email responses to my numerous emails, I call the guy. He said he had a bunch of packages sitting around waiting to be mailed. He couldn't tell me if one of them was mine and he was being delayed due to a family illness. I say no big deal I just wanted to make sure everything was in order.

Here we are over a month later and I still have no package and no contact from the seller. Gunbroker has no leverage like Ebay does, so you are essentially on your own. I have left negative feedback hoping he would notice that and do something, still nothing. I'll be calling him again Monday to see what is going on. Beyond that what are my options? I have a USPS form that will tell me if the MO has been cashed yet, will it tell me by who and where? I did a quick ARFcom search and found that a member here has the same ID as the seller

Fuck Gunbroker and all the ghost bidding that goes on there.

I don't know how many times I have bid on a weapon to and then some no feedback newb comes in there and starts bidding hard on the item.

Fake accounts, to run up the prices, and then when it gets on up there and the guy "wins" it....

A few weeks later, the same gun appears back on gunbroker.

Sellers playing games.

he has a bunch of packages sitting around but cant tell you which is yours, is there no labels on these packages? you should have told him to get his lazy ass up find it and then mail it if he indeed has what he sold you.  unfortunatly gunbroker wont do shit hopefully you didnt give the guy a ton of money.

I had a bad expereince with GB where they cancelled me a few years ago.  I know I was wronged and super pissed.  Now that I have started over, I only bid with sellers with good feedback and try to do mostly repeat business.  Big ticket items are CC and adding 3% is BS, so I avoid those sellers which is over 90%.  I bet that the phantom bidding to run up the price is true.  I've suspected it and if a 0 feedback starts bidding against me, I drop out.

Good luck.  I have a feeling it will turn out all right, just because it was so little.  I remember once that someone did a true auction on the entire Leupold upper-end scopes.  They were going for 40-60% of MSRP.  The seller had zero feedback, so I stayed back and watched.  I followed the sellers feedback, figuring if it was good I would bid at a later date.  I don't think a single person got their scope.  TONS of pissed feedback!  Nightmare and too easy to do on GB.

I'm amazed at how many people develop family illnesses after they've sold an item.
