| Anyone know of any legal issues that may arise from mounting a handgun to the bottom rail of an AR-15 in such a way that it can still fire? More specificaly, would that be considered putting a stock on a psitol, and what would the legal issues with that be? Would it be considered an SBR, or an AOW, or none of the above? |

Originaly posted by xdoctor: Why would you want to? Seems like a good holster would be a better investment.
got a friend who was asking me about it. he was worried about having his AR on a sling and droping it to draw a side arm and having it swing down in the way. He wanted to try and make something like a holster but that you could fire through that would mount on the rail so that he wouldnt have the need to even draw his secondary weapon, just pull the triger. |

that gave me a TACTICAL OVERLOAD, I'm going to lay down. |

you'd have to figure out a way for the mount to attach the frame vs. the slide if it was a semi-auto. Yeah, he was thinking specificaly of models with the under barrell rails for lights and whatnot, and attaching it to that. I think its a cool Idea, but i dont want to register my 1911 as an SBR. |
