I really hate that my team didn't prevail in this one. But I give credit to the Gators for doing what it took to get the W. Bama played very well and I can't complain that we gave them the game. A couple of minor mistakes really hurt us. But we still played a solid game. Florida is deserving of the victory and I congratulate them.
As much as I fervently pulled against the Gators tonight, I'm 100% behind you in keeping the NC trophy were it belongs. You guys went out there and earned a win tonight. I'm not a bit ashamed of Bama's play. We've got a bright future ahead. We'll likely end up 13-1 with the only loss to the national champion. Not bad for a team playing 15 freshmen and only graduating 9 scholarship seniors. I'm very proud of what this young Tide team has done this year. Roll Tide And Go Gators in the BCS game. |
The Bama returner who stepped out of bounds on the kick-off didn't do Bama any favors, IMO. 
I was surprised Bama didn't get more pressure on Tebow though. I would've thought Bama would've had a blitz package from hell, just for Tebow. Maybe the coaches thought their normal package would suffice? Ah, well. It was a helluva game.

I think Bama should have kept it on the ground more, especially over the right side. They seemed to abandon the running game when it was serving them well. It would've kept Tebow off the field as much as possible too.
Good game though..........Tebow is a weapon. |
