Why is it that in the winter when we have our thermostats set in the 60's we freeze our asses off? But yet in the spring, summer and fall when the temp is in the 60's we run around in pants or even shorts with a t-shirt or some other light shirt, maybe even w/o one at all and are just fine.

It is 23 outside with a 20 mph wind gusting to 35 mph. Wind chill is around 8 w/o the gusts. It is about 68 inside and I am sitting here in sweats with socks and slippers on and I am cold.

Is it just me or is it mental because the weather outside sucks? Who else is cold?

odds are because when outside you are moving around a lot and inside during the winter you are sitting around or walking. Blood flow does a lot for how you feel a temp.

1) Your body knows it's winter/summer.

2) Radiant energy from the walls/floor/ceiling.

It drives me nuts here in fl how when its 80 out everyone has the a/c set to 60, and when it's 60 these fuckers crank the heat to 80, it's fucking baffleing.
