Quoted:
For the second week in a row my boss bounced my fiancées and my paycheck I would tell him that he is going cover my fees which were caused by his bad check. If he didn't cover the fees I would talk to a lawyer. Regardless of what he did I'd be looking for a new job. In the near future if I was still employed there I would be cashing my checks at his bank & depositing cash in my bank. |

Oh no that was my rant on here my rant to him was all Old Testament and hellfire And I told him he WILL take care of the fees Just waiting for him to call me back I had a boss who did that twice. In my experience when paychecks start bouncing it normally means the company is about to go under. If the boss bounces checks and won't cover your costs, then money is probably really tight, but you know he has no integrity. You don't do that to your people. You can F' with a lot of things, but you don't mess with a man's paycheck. A good boss knows that and will fix things if they screw up. |

For the second fucking week in a row my boss bounced my fiancées and my fucking paycheck EDITED FOR A BETTER RANT Find another job and sue him. Most Some states allow you to recover 3x the check amount. I had a boss like that once or twice. It sucks after working all week to have to work to get your $. That is check fraud. Atty general? Wage board? If he has any type of license - get the agency that issued it involved. Edit: spelling |
| If he really wants to play hardball, check on what the penalty is for writing a bad check. See if you can turn him over to the police if he has a bad attitude. See if you can get the feds involved over not paying his people on time or something. I can tell you from experience that it's amusing when Department of Labor starts crawling all over a bad boss. There are all kinds of laws he may be violating, and a little creativity could make his life a living hell if he won't make things right. |

Anytime that things get "weird" with payroll at a company, it's time to seek greener pastures. I left a company that I had worked at for 5 years when the 401(k) contributions kept getting delayed again and again. It's a sign of cash flow problems and usually mismanagement. They had layoffs a few months after I departed.
