So I had a bunch of thanksgiving turkey left over and I figured what better way to deal with it then to make some chili.
Contains: 1-2 lbs of chopped turkey breast 3 16 oz cans of red beans 2 7 oz cans of diced green chiles 1 16 oz can of diced tomatoes 1 10 oz can of mixed tomatoes/habanero peppers 1 16 oz can of corn 1 large diced onion 2 table spoons of vegtable oil 4 tea spoons oregano 2 tea spoons cumin 2 tea spoons coriander 1 tea spoon allspice 4 tea spoons chicken bullion powder Simply fry the onion in oil until its translucent. Then add the chopped turkey and fry for a few minutes (shouldn't take long since its already cooked). Then simply dump everything else in and let it simmer for a few hours. Simple, Cheap, and most of all Tasty! |
