Doesn't anyone see what is really going on ???????
My God people, we need to step up our training and the training of others NOW...not TOMORROW, not SOMETIME SOON, NOW!!! NOW!!! NOW!!! We are running out of time. The enemies of our country and our way of life are poised to make their move against us. We are surrounded and we are in deep stuff right now. Use your heads, and keep your cool, but we are seeing the coming of our ruin. If you have been puting important needs off till things settle a bit.....DON'T !!!! The need to ramp up your training and preps has never been more needed than it is right now. Move your white bread and mayo behinds, and get ready for the SHTF main event. It is coming, and sooner than you think. There is a reason that you all have been seeing prices on everything go up, the crowds of record numbers of people at gun shows, the supplies that we stock being stripped from the shelves faster than manufacturers can keep pace. It is not panic, or even paranoia of the masses. It is the average citizen waking up to the fact that we are under attack. GO!!! MOVE!!! |

I believe dimtim has a point. Specially those people lining up at the GunShow. Saw some pics of the Gunshow in Ft Lauderdale FL this weekend and there was a line of at least 200 people. They are buying guns knowing the Political climate has darkened and a gun ban is possible.
But are they training properly? Are they buying enough ammo and cleaning materials? They are not! at least here at my job, all the guys I been alerting about the importance of gun rights are buying their weapons but are buying 50 to 100 rnds and say its enough. To tell you the truth, I was one of them in 1993  and changed my way of thinking on 9/11

Remember a few months ago the talk of deploying about 4,000 troops in the US for "security".

Yep. I have to actually agree with you to a certain degree. Not TEOTWAWKI but more likely a slow death...
I made the point to my father that at least when the Soviets fell, they typically were hardworking, mechanically skilled folks. Most Americans fall apart if the cable or air conditioning craps out. Essentially, we peaked. We can't keep living off a service economy. We ran some new ideas like the internets, reality tv, and deep fried twinkies. Made some money too, but time isn't on our side. It's not the end of the world, but we might have to give up our HDTVs. But good god, to some, that IS the end of the world. One last thing, preparedness isn't all about your stockpile of ammo. Do you know how to grow crops? Raise chickens? Heat your home without fossil fuels? I don't exactly, but I'm getting there. |

They're really nothing more than toys now and the second amendment (as well as the other ten) is such an archaic idea. We should be willing to give them up so that the government will have an easier time providing our security and prosperity. |

Sure it can. Majority of opinion is of secondary relevance. Superiority of force and tactics is what wins. Every revolution starts as a tiny group that slowly sways the public or brutally forces them into compliance. You could take this country with a small percentage of it's population because the rest will simply let it happen. |
