i apologize if this has been linked or posted up here already.  but his really disturbed me.

[url]www.insightmag.com/main.cfm/include/detail/storyid/160271.html[/url]

just a hint of what's going on in our school systems:

As reported widely in Massachusetts in 1992, at a required assembly in Chelmsford, an instructor used four-letter words describing the joys of anal and oral sex. The children then licked condoms.

Sorry but it should not take something of this nature to get parents "involved". As a parent you should already be well aware of any wackos in your schools(and already trying to have him/her removed)...Home school is fine..only problem is that most people don't have the knowledge or the time to do it correctly.  The end result is usually more uneducated people in society.

No kidding. Radical feminists reintroduced  communism in the late 60s and morphed its ideology into a movement dedicated to gaining power by promoting gender conflict followed by gender elimination. Now you can all say "Gee whiz! No wonder they want national daycares."

uh uh duh!
I once lived in Nashua, NH about thirty or forty miles north of Boston and about ten light years difference in attitude.
Maybe it's all that "scotch" that Old Joe Kennedy spilled in Boston Harbor ?

I've tried to live my adult life as a fiscal conservative and a racial moderate.  I've never particularly cared what two "consenting adults" do to/with each other.

That article has some real sick shit and should terrify about 97% of parents.
Even in Mass.

I am a teacher in the People's Republik of Massholia, and I haven't seen anything like this in the classes that I teach/ co-teach. I know both of the health teachers (one is my cousin) and the most that I have ever heard about what they teach as far as sex Ed goes is the basic biology behind how a child is conceived, and std's. I can't picture my cousin teaching homosexuality and the other teacher wouldn't touch the subject.

However, I would recommend home schooling if your have the time to put in to your child(ren) and still hold a job.

From what I garnered, it seems like these "educators" are commiting felonies. Introducing pornography to minors USED to be a crime. But I guess when the former Persident is given an O.K. by his party to have sexual affairs IN the Oval Office, the "educators" feel tht they can do anything they want.
My wife and I have already discussed the homeschooling option, or she will go to a private Catholic school (in the South).
Friggin liberals.  [puke] [-!-]

[smoke]
(and I WONDER why they don't want parents to be armed around schools??? I would probably try to kill anyone who tried to corroupt my daughter in this way)

Yes, I read it, and yes, it is total BS.

I was homeschooled, mysisters were homeschooled, and my children will be as well. Sacrifice? Yes, a huge one, for both me and my future wife. However, I will know that my kids will NOT have to put up with this crap. That is enough. They will never suffer through 8 hours of daily programming.

Unfortunately, if this is the first thing about public education that has enraged you since the early 1920's, you're way late for the game. Socialist collecitivism and relativism is rampant in the structure of public education.

Surely this isn't the first time you've heard of such types of wierd stuff happening at the public schools?

"Welcome to the real world" [:)]

Been hearing about this kind of stuff happening with an increasing frequency ever since I was a young'un - only a few years out of high school ('73) - altho, I admit, it wasn't very widespread at that time...

This type of stuff is why my daughter went to the school with our church, and is now home schooling her wey through H.S. (that and she's smart as a whip, and I'm gonna get her outta H.S. on the 3 year plan and off to college - then lookout mamma![:D])

ARlady, you will get no argument from me about homeschooling your kid(s) - in fact, I would be happy to give you an 'attalady' or two...

OK Guys......Stop

I live in MA. I haven't heard about these incidents. I'm not saying they didn't happen but most in MA would not stand for truely rude teachings. The Newton School system is rated to be one of the best in the state but it is very liberal as well (I'm sure too liberal for my kids).

I don't like alot of the touchy feely crap they teach in my kids school but I talk to them and try to put it into perspective. My 10 year old has a flag and says the pledge of allegiance everyday in her class (yes even last year).

Not all of MA are liberal scum. Some of us actually voted for GWB and everything.

wow, I read it...can't believe it....seems to far out there to be true... I can't see any school/school board being autonomous from the families in the district.

Here is more recent news in which you discover the Unitarians and the Town are in cahoots on this and Rep. Barney Franks says any parent who disagrees with him is a "moron".

I say crack's been around a lot longer than we thought.[:(!]

Well, these teachers have to do something.  I mean, when you sodomize your 14-year-old student it is really annoying when they cry out in pain.  Even worse is when the 5th-grade boy toothes your dick while "providing oral pleasure."  These teachers have to act to prevent such terrible things from happening.

And if after these students have their horizons broadened they want to explore their new found sexuality with their instructor, they must provide the student with a safe and loving homosexual experience.

[puke]

That's how the liberals look at it.

I don't live in MA, and I've heard about them several times.  Articles about the incidents were written in "reputable" papers as well as the (more truthful) "right-wing scum" papers.  If you didn't hear about these, you must have been living on Mars, in a cave, with your fingers stuck in your ears.

Yes, but until you start following your heritage and shooting the vermin, just like the militia did at Lexington and Concord, you're still going to be living in a cesspool where shit (like these incidents) happens.

Please....I hope it isn't time for firing shots.

I live in Western MA. and most have about the same attitudes as you folks. But even still 2 years ago I was at parents night and read an essay done by one of my kids classmates. It was entitled "why guns should be banned". I latter found out her father was running for school committee and he was very anti-gun. He lost big!
I want to try the democratic process for change before the rambo process.

You can still fight the war at the ballot box and all should. I don't doubt there are real liberal wacko teachers/school systems in my state but their are good people as well. Just like CA. NY. and yes even Texas (have you been to Austin lately?)
