I just saw a trailer for an MSNBC Special titled "Al Roker Reporting...Armed in America", which airs tonight at 10PM Eastern on MSNBC.
The trailer shows a BATF Agent and Roker holding a .50 Browning, with the Agent saying "This is a Fifty-Caliber MACHINE GUN that's considered a sporting rifle, and as easy to buy as a twenty-two." They both had that 'sad, disgusted" look on their face. HERE IT COMES, folks, the opening shot to ban the evil gun. This should be good!!!! I'm gonna record it on DVD so I can show the next generation how the end started. |

they definitely used the word "Machine Gun" and not semi-auto Browning M2 or anything else?
Can't they BATF be sued for for misrepresenting it's poistion on United States Code? I would think that would be frowned upon by the judicial system. The Media is expected to be ignorant, but if an active BATFE agent lies on a national TV broacast, would that not be a legal liablity? |

Won't matter after it's out there. All anyone will remember is the lie thay saw on TV. |

Nope, the ATF Agent said "MACHINE GUN". I remember because that's when I s**t my pants. It was a clip from the "show" so we can all re-live it tonight. |

I'm using the DVR to record it tonight as we watch it, so I can go through later and transcribe it and do a point-by-point rebuttal, or something. I'm sure the ammount of BS that fat fuck Roker will spew will keep me busy for weeks. The problem is that no one will call them out on their lies in a highly visible public forum. All the people who are willing to do so, don't have access to the kind of exposure one would need. I feel it would be akin to screaming at the top of your lungs in public, and no one can see or hear you, and you are trying to tell them something that would save their lives. I'll go to sleep pissed off tonight because of it. |

someone should file a frivolous lawsuit ,just like they do(liberal idiots) fire the agent and fire rokeer for lying to americans *cough* fairness doctrine!!! ![]() And this is why I think the Dems won't really try to install the "Fairness Doctrine". With a competently lead conservative (constitutional) movement, the "doctrine" becomes a disaster for the Dems. A disaster. It becomes a massive tool for us to use. And we should use it without lubricant! So all they can really do is threaten its implementation and frighten "talk radio" into being more "fair". The "doctrine" works against them, or it should if we stay united (organized). |

Mutherfucker. 96% of Americans were dumb enough to believe the two major parties bullshit, why shouldn't they believe whatever the talking heads on the news say. Fixed. I'd guess about 75% of Americans would support an "assault weapon ban" if shown that "assault weapons are machine guns" by ABC and friends again. |

Quoted: Quoted: What are they talking about? Easy to buy. a .50 ANYTHING isnt fuckin cheap and a .22 is like $150. Don't bolt action .50s still retail for like $3-4k ![]() Bolt action $4-6k Semi $7K+ which is why i don't have one You can get some 50 cal uppers for ARs for $2-$3K. Feeding the bitch is the huge expense, even reloading for it is cost prohibitive for most. Finally, finding a place to actually shoot one is incredible difficult in most areas. The latter is what's discouraged me having purchased one over the years. |

If anybody asked, I'd just tell them that they're better investments then the Shit-Market or 401K(rap). |
