Clear sky, bright moon and maybe the best night launch yet.

I'm in Tampa and could clearly see it go up. I was amazed.

Was driving north with my dad in the car and we saw this stange looking fireball in the sky. It looked like a meteor but it was going UP. Then we realized it was the shuttle. I forgot about it, wow. What a clear night to see it.

It's great to see but if you can get within a few miles you can sometimes feel a slight pressure wave just after launch.

My wife and I went out to watch, we were joined by a few neighbors. We are in Land O' Lakes, well over 100 miles away.

The night launches are great - RARE - but great.
