| Quick question, does anyone know how similar the trigger guards are, im about to pick up an xd and i was wondering if i could use it in my race holster. I hope if anything that its a little wider because i could sand it down so it would fit. If its smaller im out of luck. |

Kydex or Leather?
Most likey,..No. Most top tier holster manufactures use and actual glock or xd when designing their holster, so most are made to fit that handgun like a glove. Now if it a cheesy one size fits most(Nylon POSs') they probably yes What type of uber cool race gun holster do you have? more info helps... |

Does that holster require you to drill a hole in the trigger guard? I have a G23 and a XD40 service model. Here's is some pics, they look close but the XDs guard has a different angle than the Glocks. Tomorrow I can bring home my micrometer and take some measurements for ya. http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn286/jt556/Nov08013.jpg http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn286/jt556/Nov08011.jpg http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn286/jt556/Nov08010.jpg No need to drill a hole, its just sits in there. the only thing I could see being a problem is the angle on the front of the xd's trigger frame. and the width of the trigger frame. I hope its wider, then I could sand it down. Thanks for your help by the way. |

What is wrong with them? The OP is most likely a USPSA shooter. The XD has a high bore axis and not near the aftermarket support that a Glock has. True, but my buddy has one with a tricked trigger and sights and he is in the top 3 everytime, I know its all the shooter but im getting a good deal on one and I wanna try something diffrent. |
