So now add to the list of Obama-named children - an Obama-named mountain. 
Mount Obama Antigua wants to rename highest peak 'Mount Obama' ST JOHN'S, ANTIGUA (AP) - Antigua's prime minister wants to rename the island's highest mountain peak "Mount Obama" in honor of the U.S. president-elect. "Boggy Peak," as it is currently known, soars more than 1,300 feet (396 meters) over the island's southern point and serves as a transmission site for broadcast and telecommunication providers. It also is a popular hiking spot. Political analyst Avel Grant says the name change could draw more tourists to the island. Prime Minister Baldwin Spencer announced the plans Wednesday in a congratulatory letter to President-elect Obama. Attorney General Justin Simon said Thursday he will research if parliament needs to approve the name change. |

Ok, Just got back from the Caribbean. They are staunch Obama supporters. We as tourists are not. Vote with your money. Just a thought. Close em down! Show them the benefits of an BO presidency.
Im afraid it is going to happen un intentionally anyways as discretionary income that pays for these vacations will soon dry up. |
