Are thos Coughlan's Waterproof Pouches actually waterproof?

Am I better served making one out of some vacuum bagging in some way?

What about a small pelican case that will fit in a cargo pocket?

A passport has to fit in it.

I'm in Bass Pro right now.

The case that comes with the NRA survival kit is a nice size and pretty good.

Ok I found the small pelican cases. They all say not for use while swimming/diving.

The Pelican 1020 looks good though.

I wanted to use it down to about 30ft

This Otterbox says it's good down to 100' but it looks different than the survival kit one.

I don't use the survival kit for diving.  Just in my pack, rafting, kayaking etc where it's for splash protection and maybe brief, shallow submersion.

Ok cool

I just found this baggie called a Dry Pak. Similar to the Coughlans pouch but with a hard clamp. Cost 3x the Coughlan.
