hey guys, i need to get Microsoft office for my pc but that shit is expensive. is there anything i can do? any other programs/options that is cheaper?

i need it for writing papers and doing other school work.

ah someone did tell me about that open office a few weeks back but i had forgot about it.

maybe ill try that and see how it works.  have you had any experience with it?

Open Office for free.  It's so awesome.  Maybe even consider running it via Portable Aps on a thumbdrive or WD Passport or something so you can take your office suite and other applications everywhere.
