Ever since the 2006 midterms, every conservative pundit would hammer the Democrats on the their rock bottom approval ratings....even lower than W's. Pelosi and Reid were constant targets. Well, that Congress just added more Democratic seats in the House and Senate making Pelosi and Reid's jobs that much easier.
The whole Republican brand took a hit last night. Someone MUST step up and start combatting the Democrats and the media who will have the bully pulpit for the foreseeable future. |

Way more Republican seats were at risk last night than those of democrats.
This was not anywhere near the blood bath everyone was predicting. Dems did not gain the supermajority in the Senate to overide a Republican Filiabuster like they had hoped for. This was about the best scenario we could have expected this time around in the Congress. Unfortuneately we probably will not rebound until 2012 because more Republican seats are up for re-election again in 2010 than Democrats. |
