So the hippies aren't packing for Canada.  McCain lost.  So we see what happens.  Like I said before - we live in America - where anyone an be President; that's just the risk you take.

Obama has "new ideas" for change - so let's see where it goes.

IMO all politicians have old crap in a new bottle.

4 years isn't that long and besides look what happened to Carter when he arrived.

As they lost earlier in past elections, so too have we.  They survived and so shall we.

I remember in past elections how this site laughed at the democrats that threatened to move to Canada!

I have never heard so much whining and crying from grown men in my life!

I know some people on this site look forward to SHTF and TEOTWAWKI so HERE IT IS!

That's all well and good, we will survive, but remember, we band together here over a single issue. There are other common bonds but one reason draws us here, our interest in firearms and the AR15 in specific. Change is good in some areas, but when it comes to our Second Amendment rights, change is usually not for the better. The POTUS can and does chip away incrementally at our rights and we have no reason to believe that the next president won't do the same.

The Libs band together over a multitude of issues and small losses make no difference to the solidarity of their cause. They just regroup, reword the propositions and go again, knowing that they can sway the winds of change with patience and persistence. Once a law or Presidential Order passes, it is pretty much written in stone. More power is tacitly given to the BATFE and their power grows. For us it is a battle of inches, and we lost quite a few this time around.

Agree 100% and we will stand together on the issue that unites us.  Keep a weather eye on what's happening - there is an evil wind blowing from the East.
