So I got bored today and decided to look for some firearm related stuff to listen to on my mp3 player. I found this site. The current episode is about the possibilities if BHO wins the election. There are definitely some lulls and slow spots in the show, but there are some pretty good points and he plays some clips from listener submitted material (including a review of the Knob Creek shoot) and some clips of BHO spewing his BS.
Anyone ever listen to these or have any leads on other podcasts like this? |

Mark does a good job on the Gun Rights Advocates podcast. He is a bit earnest but always works hard to do a good job.
The granddaddy of the gun podcasts would be GunTalk with Tom Gresham which is a 3-hour rebroadcast of his Sunday radio show. http://guntalk.libsyn.com/index.php?post_category=podcasts My favorite gun podcast is Michael Bane's Down Range Radio podcast. He talks guns and he talks gun politics in an entertaining way. Plus they come from the Secret Hidden Bunker in the Rockies.
http://www.downrange.tv/podcast.htm The best voice in podcasts is a guy named Syd who puts out a podcast called the Front Sight Press podcast. He is just back after about a year's absence. http://www.snubnose.info/wordpress/ If you have iTunes, you can find all of these and some more. Hope this helps. john |

...snip... Thanks for the suggestions. The Gun Talk podcast is another one that I stumbled across yesterday but didn't really get a chance to listen to until late yesterday and today. It's pretty good and I downloaded a decent number of episodes to listen to. It'd be nice if they gave more of a episode summary on the episode list. I'll be sure to check out the other ones as well. |

I listened to one recently where the VP of sales for FNH USA was interviewed. I do not remember where I heard it. Does anybody recall that interview and have some idea where I might have heard it? This might be it, I didn't give it a listen. Interview with Rick DeMilt, VP of sales for FNH USA. Mostly doom-and-gloom about the demise of the FN57 according to many here who thought it was a ploy to drum up sales, but IIRC there's a bill in the works to prohibit it. |

Hope this helps. john Well, I've been listening to Gun Talk right along, and yesterday I downloaded a bunch of Downrange Radio episodes. I like that guy; great show! Eerily similar to myself. Seems like the type of guy I'd like to have a beer with; an ARFCOMer for sure, what's his s/n I downloaded a couple episodes of Front Sight but haven't had a chance to listen to them. |

Grisham seems like a nice guy but it's three hours of general discussion type gun questions "What is my old rusty gun worth?" "Is the taurus judge a really good carry gun?" "At what distance does 223 start to tumble through the air"? Matt Burkett's podcast is geared toward three gun shooting but if you are somewhat knowledgeable about guns it's at least more interesting than Grisham http://www.mattburkett.com/podcast/podcast.xml I only listened to a couple but Black Man with a Gun is okay. He seems like a nice guy and http://www.blackmanwithagun.com/ and most of it is more "man with gun" then "black man" |

I also stopped listening to the Gun Rights Advocate Podcast when I realized that out of a 1/2 hour show, he would spend 20 minutes talking about his computer or recording equipment....8 minutes bitching that the listeners don't email him...and 2 minutes talking about guns. |

I'll be sure to check out the two that you mentioned. Thanks! |
